With the new Strait-Way KIA Free Oil for Life V.I.P. card you’ll never pay for engine oil for the life of your vehicle. All you need to do is follow Kia Canada’s recommended Basic Maintenance Program .

Regulations:

  1. Cardholder does not pay for oil for any regular maintenance service. Customer will be responsible for labor, oil filter, environmental fees, shop supplies and other charges.
  2.  Cardholder must adhere to Kia’s maintenance menu and follow the appropriate mileage and time intervals defined within the maintenance menu. Failure to follow the maintenance menu will result in the card becoming void immediately.
  3. Although it is not the responsibility of Strait-Way Kia to remind the Cardholder of the appropriate service in which they are due, we will make every effort to encourage the Cardholder to follow the proper schedule.
  4. Card is non-transferable, and has no monetary value.
  5. Card is valid as long as the purchasing owner owns the vehicle.
  6. No mileage or time limitations!
  7. Strait-Way Kia reserves the right to modify or cancel the program at any time.Card is valid only at Strait-Way Kia
  8. Strait-Way Kia will not reimburse any customer expense for services performed at other repair facilities.

What Your Freedom Drive Maintenance Program Covers:

One set of 4 winter tires, installed and balanced on rims by Strait-Way Kia, in addition to those on the purchased vehicle. (Strait-Way Kia reserves the right to choose in its sole discretion, the tires and rims, including the manufacturer and make of said tires and rims).

One set of front brake pads and front rotors per 5-year contract (Strait-Way Kia reserves the right to use any and all after market parts, in its sole discretion).

One set of rear brake pads or shoes and rear rotors or drums per 5-year contract (Strait-Way Kia reserves the right to use any and all after market parts, in its sole discretion).

What Your Freedom Drive Maintenance Program Does Not Cover:

Any and all components, maintenance, repair and other service not specifically listed above, including but not limited to:

  1. A/C Systems (recharge)
  2. Engine Light (Computer Scans)
  3. Tire studs and tire studding.
  4. Timing belts
  5. Wiper blade replacement
  6. All glass
  7. Alignments
  8. Radios, stereo systems, entertainment devices, speakers, and/or related equipment.
  9. Any and all repair or maintenance resulting from other than normal wear and tear, including but not limited to: road hazard, abuse, misuse, negligence, collision, fire, theft, vandalism, water and/or freezing.

Terms of Coverage:

  1. Non-Refundable.
  2. Non-Transferable.
  3. Only serviceable at Strait-Way Kia (NO other Kia location).

This agreement expires 5 years from the date of purchase, or when your vehicle reaches 100,000km, or when you no longer own your vehicle, whichever occurs first. This program is for the exclusive benefit of the registered owner named herein and applies only to the vehicle described above. The Freedom Drive program is an exclusive agreement between the registered owner named herein and Strait-Way Kia and/or its successors and assigns. The program will not be honored at any other dealer, nor will Strait-Way Kia reimburse the owner for repairs and/or maintenance performed on the vehicle named herein by any other service/repair provider. This program is non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly provided herein. *Maintenance and services provided by Strait-Way Kia will occur at Kia Canada Inc.’s recommended service intervals only*. All components and services to be provided under this agreement are to be provided as deemed necessary by Strait-Way Kia in its sole discretion. This agreement is in no way a warranty or guarantee of any kind, and Strait-Way Kia makes no warranties whatsoever, either express or implied, oral or written, in fact or by operation of law or otherwise. This program does not affect nor replace your manufacturer’s warranty and Strait-Way Kia assumes no liability whatsoever for the manufacturer’s warranty. Strait-Way Kia shall not be liable or responsible in any way for failing to meet any obligation under this agreement due to causes beyond its reasonable control. Strait-Way Kia maintains the right to dissolve this agreement under circumstances recognized by Strait-Way Kia, in its sole discretion, to warrant such action, who no refund, reimbursement nor compensation to the registered owner named herein.

Rental and Loaner Policy

Strait-Way KIA hopes that every visit to our Service Department is a pleasant experience. To this end, we offer a shuttle service for our customers while your vehicle is being serviced.

Should your vehicle require an extended appointment (8 hours or longer of being serviced and/or not driveable), our service department may be able to provide you with a rental or loaner vehicle, for your convenience.

If a rental vehicle is required in excess of a 24 hour period, a special discounted rental rate may be available. As the needs of our service customers vary, our Service Manager will advise suitable arrangements on a per customer/per service basis, to keep you on the go while your vehicle is being serviced.

Please Note: It is our pleasure to provide loaner vehicles when necessary however, we ask a few simple courtesies of our benefitting customers.

  1. Strait-Way Kia assigns loaner vehicles several days in advance of scheduled appointments. If you are using a loaner vehicle, we kindly ask that you return the vehicle on schedule so as not to inconvenience the next waiting customer.
  2. If a loaner vehicle is not returned by the scheduled time, Strait-Way KIA advises our customers that rental fees may apply. We also advise our customers that any damages to the loaned vehicle while in the customer’s possession are the sole responsibility of the customer.
  3. Fuel is not provided by Strait-Way for loaner vehicles and we kindly ask that you return your loaner vehicle containing the same amount of fuel as when you received it, to avoid fuel charges.
